If you have the time, try baking your own croutons and roasting your own pecans! For croutons, cut stale bread into cubes. Toss with olive oil and spices of your choosing and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, tossing to get an even toasty exterior. For Pecans, toss with olive oil or drizzle maple syrup and bake at same time and temperature for 10 minutes.
