This salad is classic, easy-to-make salad you can always count on! Use seasonal pears for the juiciest, sweetest flavor.

Pear and Gorgonzola Salad Recipe
Ingredients
  • 8 oz. BrightFarms® Baby Spinach or BrightFarms® salad of your choice! 
  • 2 oz. gorgonzola, crumbled
  • 1 cup pecans 
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • 2 pears, cut into thin slices
  • 1 small carrot, ribboned
Cranberry Vinaigrette 
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce 
  • 1 tsp orange zest 
  • ½ cup orange juice 
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar 
  • ¼ cup olive oil 
  • ½ tsp salt 
Recipe Preparation
  1. Place salad greens in a large bowl. Peel the pears and cut into thin slices, removing the core and any seeds.
  2. Peel the carrot and use vegetable peeler to peel the carrot into ribbons.
  3. Add pear slices, cranberries, carrot ribbons, and pecans to the bowl.
  4. In a mason jar, combine dressing ingredients and shake to combine.
  5. Toss everything in the bowl with the dressing. Serve immediately.
